CURT APANOVICH, CO-PRODUCER: With over 15 years of Film and Television production experience, Curt’s worked with every major motion picture studio and television network in one form or another, producing and directing hundreds of film and high-definition shoots, and has been featured on the cover industry standard MIX and POST Magazines. He started Hieroglyphic Productions 10 years ago, which quickly became Disney’s largest vendor for promotional programming, and a Production Powerhouse. He loves new projects, and he’s constantly challenging myself… so he’s moved toward new-media with the launch of the interactive Photography website PhotographyMentor.com with celebrity photographer Robert Evans, who is responsible for shooting the weddings of Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston, and more. He’s also a partner in Robert Evans Studios.
LOYD CALOMAY, TEAM A CREATIVE CONSULTANT: Loyd Calomay has always had a love for movies. When given the opportunity to shoot a friend’s wedding, Loyd came up with the idea of producing a concept video to be played at their reception, a movie spoof starring the bride and groom. The video was a huge hit with the audience and Loyd found his new passion. He began his wedding video business, Red 5 Studios, with one goal in mind: make wedding films that the newlyweds would be proud to stand alongside their collection of Hollywood movies. Since then, Loyd has produced dozens of movie spoofs and concept videos for couples who want to entertain their guests with a video presentation that is fun and totally unexpected. In recent years, Red 5 has added the Same Day Edit video to their arsenal, creating the perfect combination for a truly memorable video show. With the full attention of a 200-300 guests, their presentations are a marketer’s dream come true. They found that they have to do little to advertise beyond projecting the short films at these weddings. Attending an event videographers conference in January 2008 provided the impetus for Red 5 Studios’ incredible growth, both professionally and artistically. It was there that Loyd was able to associate with leading event filmmakers for the first time. The same year, he picked up 3 major industry awards (2 for concept video production), and was featured in Event DV magazine www.Red5Studios.net.
