August 6, 2008

Welcome back to another episode. In this second of a three part interview, our personal conversation with David continues. He talks about his faith and why he feels comfortable sharing it openly, even on his business website; his relationship with Allie and the trials and tribulations of having a romantic relationship in the public eye; he goes into the importance of focusing in your business and his decision to focus on his ShowIt companies; and finally he delves into the importance of not letting the craziness of today’s fast-paced society keep you from really connecting with people, on a personal level.

I really enjoyed hearing DJ talk about his faith, love and work ethic. My hubby & I just saw him & Jasmine in Los Angeles at a ShowIt seminar and we loved what they had to say. Ron, I’m really looking forward to part 3 and your future episodes. This is a great service you’re doing for photogs. Thx.

it is quite interesting to see how down to earth David really is. I have met quite a few “popular” celebrity photogs, and unfortunately many of them have that celebrity persona about themselves and they are a bit big headed. It is extremely refreshing to see that David does have faith in God, as well as all he does do to give back to his peers. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see the next show. Have to admit you gave me a bit of faith myself! Thanks a bunch!

Really like this new venue/medium with the video. It is great to see your expressions and those of your guests throughout the videocast. I am addicted to your podcasts and listen to them while I process photos. (This is more challenging with video though, I must admit!) Thanks! Keep ’em coming! Love the diversity of imagemakers on your shows.
David is wonderful too….woW…I love David’s philosophy of giving. It inspires me to give even more within my local “photo” community.
I have an upcoming children’s portrait session with a friend and client (photographing her kiddos) and I’ve encouraged her to bring her DSLR so we can “shoot together” and I can give her some tips along the way. I am really looking forward to this and her excitement makes me happy too! :)L

I love your shows! I listen, and now WATCH every episode… only the IT dept blocks us from streaming video so I have to watch the “ILC” episodes at home.

Great, great interview. I really enjoy hearing how DJ balances his work, his life, his faith, and his relationships. As he continues to inspire people, your interview gives us a great insight to what goes on in his life “behind the scenes”, if you will… Thanks again!

I really enjoy the “In Living Color” series. Keep up the great work! Also, I really enjoy that you aren’t afraid to share your faith. May God continue to bless you in your endeavors.
